Biography

Lauren Barone is a Legal Assistant at Esquivel Law Chartered. She is a graduate of the University of Florida and Florida Gulf Coast University. She began her career as a paralegal for four years before changing gears and working as a classroom teacher. Lauren now works from home while being a stay-at-home mom and has evolved from the firm’s billing specialist to a legal assistant, helping with all facets of client matters. Lauren loves being back in the field and being able to collaborate with her sister, giving clients the attention to detail that the small firm offers. Her favorite parts of working at Esquivel Law Chartered are problem solving, anticipating and executing the next steps in the matter, and using her almost-photographic memory to recall and connect details to benefit the outcome for their clients.

Lauren’s greatest accomplishment is her sons, ages 3 and 7, and is incredibly grateful for the opportunity to be home with them while they are still young, while staying sharp and being a part of growing and elevating Esquivel Law Chartered. Lauren enjoys binging The Office for the umpteenth time and knitting during her limited free time. Lauren and her husband Bruce have been married for over 11 years, and her perfect day would be spent at the beach with her family.
